Kal Ho Naa Ho

Again this movie trip has its own importance.....for the first time in my life, i entered Metro Cinema in Kolkata. Once upon a time, it was a premiere cinema hall in Kolkata, but the time that i went there...it was breathing its last (today toh its completely shut and i feel very bad abt it)...anyways, while entering the cinema hall, the feeling was as if i have entered some historic place...till then i had no idea that so soon it will actually become history :(

Well we had planned the movie a long while ago (when the promos were out), though i was a bit hesistant coz of SRK and my money. But movie turned out to be really good, so I agreed. We wanted to catch the show in the very first week, but the tickets were not available. My friends who were big time SRK fans were going crazy after they heard reviews and feedbacks from others in college. Finally in the second week, we managed to get tickets. If i remember, it was me, Snu , and Chandu who went for the movie.

For the first half, i was stuck between the two and they were madly throwing flying kisses towards the screen. I was like okay movie is good but wats all this...so i turned my attention towards the cinema hall...since it was my first visit, i wanted to check wat was its USP that floored everyone. It had British day architecture and the balcony was one of the most beautiful balconies that i have ever witnessed in cinema halls.

And since it was our first visit to movie after entering the college life, it  was time for me to start what i am best at...NSP. Better i dont disclose the full form. Those who know should also know that i wear specs so hw mandatory it is for me. I was looking for my target and lucky me and my eyes, they didnt had to go too far. I found out a couple in the next row who were lil weird.

In the interval, we got ourselves cold drinks. Post interval, Snu and Chandu were pissed off by my antics and decided to throw me in the side seat. So here i was all by myself checking everyone in the cinema hall during the melodramatic scenes. Well, i did watch the movie :). It was fun. After sometime, my eyesight moved again to my old target who were seated just infront of us. And i was forced to laugh in the middle of a very dranatic scene. the two were smsing each other and smiling. (i have witnessed numerous couples in the theatres and believe me every time i have learnt new things abt couples in cinema halls...i think another good topic for starting a blog)...anyways, my friends intervened and asked me to shut up.

And then came the Kodak moment. SRK's death scene or rather SRK's last scene before his death in the flick....the couple who were by now busy chatting via sms had kept their phones aside and were staring at the screen as if watching some breaking news on tv. SRK dies and i hear everyone crying. I saw the lady infront of me...she was inconsolable and the guy was offering her his handkerchief...i turned arnd to check what others are doing...and saw they are also crying...last with a hope that my friends wud be better, i turned towards them....they were also CRYING....and the next moment everyone was looking at me with amused looks: COZ I WAS LAUGHING LOUD!!! girls were taking their eyes out on me coz thy thought hw can i laugh on SRKs ( i mean Aman's) death.
Huh, my friends gave me a warning that next time if i do so, they will disown me publically...I just miss those days of catfight over film actors...he he he

Well next, the same week after 3 days, i was again in the same theatre with my uncle and bro watching the same flick...kitna atyachar??? makes me say Kal toh Kabhi Naa Ho :)

And a question that still remains unanswered: "How come Saif and Preity had a Caucasian child?" KJo...pls add some light on this..!
